What is it like being late all the time? It's a very complicated and frustrating process. I am one of those people that is always trying to be on time but is always late no matter how hard I try to be on time. There are stages to being late and but there is no going back to fix it once you already realize you're going to be late.

1. You start out being so confident that you can be on time. Thinking I can do this, I am going to be on time today!

2. You think "oh I don't need to get ready yet I have plenty of time before I have to leave I'll still be on time."

3. You realize okay I really need to start getting ready now.

4. You get distracted while getting ready so it takes you longer than a normal person to end up getting ready.

5. You realize you need to leave in half an hour and you're only half way ready and just wonder how is this possible.

6. You need to leave in 5 minutes to get there on time and start thinking maybe today isn't going to be the day you are actually on time.

7. You've accepted you aren't going to be on time, because that would mean you need to leave now and that it's okay because you're just a late person.

8. You were suppose to leave 10 minutes ago to be there on time.

9. You were suppose to be there already but you're still at home just about to leave.

10. You decided tomorrow is a new day and you will try harder to be on time then.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
