And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. —Romans 12:2

When our spiritual eyes are opened, we will have a true understanding of the reality of this age. This spirit has been affecting a lot of the young people; students, adolescents, and young adults are led by this wave and spirit that is influencing the whole world. That is why the verse above tells us to not conform to the world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. The purpose of this topic will change the way we think, the way that we see things, and our philosophy about certain things. The reality is that there is a conflict between the spirit of God and the spirit of this age (the world).

Moreover, the word "world," means age. When we talk about conforming to something, we talk about becoming like something. Whatever we become in our lives, it will be because of the things that we have conformed to. In other words, we are agreeing with, or affirming that mentality.

In this world, God has been rejected. This social order and system has rejected God and all of his principles. There has been churches, nowadays, that have considered themselves "modernized" by accepting homosexuality, abortion, and pornography in their church. Little do we know, that sin will always continue to be a sin. If we conform to this system, we will become like the wicked one, which is the one that rules and governs this system, which is the devil. When we agree to abortion, we are agreeing with the devil. This system has become anti-God, or anti-Christ.

Is anti-Christ necessarily the devil manifested as a person? No; the word anti-Christ means opposed or against the anointed one. If the devil would come as himself, no one would follow him. Therefore, he has to come masked and in different forms so that we can conform to him. Otherwise, he wouldn't have followers. Therefore, if we love music, he will present the best music that will lead you away from God. People today are deceived easily because they are fallen away by their flesh and their emotions and not by the spirit of God.

Whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. —2 Corinthians 4:4

The god of this age has to blind people in order so that the people can follow them. He will blind them with thoughts, ideas, dreams, and motives that are against the purpose of God.
