What would we do without them?

The Six Different Drunk Personalities Of Your Friend Group
Big Appled

We all know each girl in our friend group has a different personality, especially on a Saturday night. There's always that one girl passed out in a bush, or the other girl that's crying about her ex boyfriend. As much as they make us go crazy, it wouldn't be a weekend without them.

1. The girl that doesn't know when it's time to stop dancing on the table.

10 minutes is fine, but once 20 minutes passes by it's time to pull them off the table. We love to hate them and envy them for their confidence up there, but there comes a time where we have to drag them off of the table for their own good.

2. The girl that resembles Mom.

We wouldn't survive without Mom. She's the one that tells us to stop drinking and when we don't listen she doesn't get mad, she just holds our hair back. She is the one that makes decisions for you, because her decisions are usually better. We would all struggle without the mom of the friend group.

3. The girl that cries about everything.

When you look in the corner it's your best friend crying about her ex-boyfriend she broke up with a year ago, or the math test she just bombed. Luckily after five minutes of crying she's normally good to go for the rest of the night.

4. The girl that doesn't know when to stop.

That one friend that's always down for another shot or to a shotgun a beer. As much as we try to get her slow down, we just can't. When nobody wants to go out with you on Friday night, you can always count on her to be ready to go.

5. The girl that goes M.I.A. the entire night.

There's nothing better than waking up the next morning and hearing where she could have possibly gone the entire night, but the story normally ends with her sleeping in a bush.

6. The girl that always needs assistance.

Whether it's throwing up in the toilet or just a bathroom buddy; time with this girl normally includes a lot of drunk mirror pics in the bathroom or making her drink a lot of water. But what would a night be without her get hot flashes or laying on the bathroom floor?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
