1. You quickly learn that having one planner for chapter events and one for academic events might be the only way to survive.

2. There’s always someone higher up you can direct people to for stuff you don’t know about, which is like everything. Unless you're the president–love ya girl!

3. So many emails. Emails from new members who are lost and afraid. Emails from other exec members. Emails from scary advisors. Just ignore them and they’ll go away! Just kidding it doesn’t work like that. I tried.

4. You cling to every word the person who held your position before you ever said. And you text/email/facebook them so much for help it’s impressive.

5. You get to gossip and become BFFs with the house mom.

6. One day you accidentally buy food for all of exec with the treasurer’s budget.

7. You get really tight with all the sophomores who live in with you.

8. You get really tight with all the other exec members.

9. You know secrets before the rest of the chapter, like how much money you raised for the philanthropy or where the big socials are going to be. And where the good snacks are hidden.

10. You know that even though it can be stressful and crazy at times, it's all worth it in the end! Yay, leadership! So in sync!
