What do you mean? I mean Justin Bieber is back with a vengeance.
Some would say the official start to the return of the Biebs started at the 2015 MTV VMAs, where Justin gave a crowd-pleasing performance of his hit song "What Do You Mean" and chart-topping collaboration "Where Are U Now" with Skrillex and Diplo. The VMAs were full of headline moments from the T-Swift/Nicki Minaj epic performance to the many wardrobes of Miley Cyrus. However, one of the most defining moments of the VMAs was when Justin Bieber broke down in tears after his performance, reminding fans why we had once caught the Bieber-fever.
When "Where Are U Now" came out at the end of the summer, it was an instant crowd-pleaser, but while listeners could appreciate the song, there was still a bad taste in our mouths about Justin Bieber when thinking back to some of the very public offenses he had made in previous years. It wasn't until his heartfelt performance and numerous appearances on talk shows where he acknowledged and apologized for his mistakes that people started to climb back aboard the Bieber train.
After the massive success of "What Do You Mean," the debut had huge anticipation behind it, with the support of many celebrities posting pictures and videos of themselves holding up signs with the remaining amount of days until the release. Justin Bieber did not let fans down.
On October 22, Justin Bieber released yet another amazing song, "Sorry," which is rumored to be a song to his ex, Selena Gomez. No matter who the song is written for, ladies across the world have fallen back in love with the Biebs and his new sound. The music video was just as exciting and inspired various Halloween costumes.
"Purpose" is set to release on November 13th. If you're like me, you're counting down the days until you can blast every single song in the car driving home for winter break. The Biebs is back and better than ever before. All hail.
