The end of the semester is always something to look forward to, finals week however is something that every college student dreads. Here’s to a week of bubbling in too many scantrons, shedding an endless amount of tears, and studying your Quizlet like your life depends on it, because it practically feels like it does.

Netflix Binge

Netflix is the perfect go-to after the infinite hours spent in the library and stress that finals bring. If you’re looking for a new show to get roped into, look no further. The Flash will hook you in immediately and the binge will be inevitable.

Holiday Hot Chocolate

As the holidays and colder weather approach’s, hot chocolate is the most essential way to get into the mood. The secret to the perfect holiday hot cocoa is adding a candy cane, and there you have a home made, innovative peppermint hot cocoa!

Fuzzy Socks

Who doesn’t love fuzzy socks. You can never have enough of them and the collection just seems to keep growing larger and larger. Fuzzy socks are the answer to any problem, I promise. They are also great to slide across your hardwood floors and land right on your couch.

A Good Night’s Sleep

By good night’s sleep, I don’t mean the typical 7-8 hours recommended by your doctor. I mean the kind of deep sleep that concerns your mom because it’s 2pm and you still haven’t come out of your room for the day.


A Cozy Blanket

This is the most essential item that goes along with all of the above. Costco and Walmart have the coziest blankets, if you’re looking to become a human burrito for the duration of your winter break, which I would highly recommend.

Family Fun

This sounds cliché, but after getting teased by the ever so short Thanksgiving break, winter break has finally arrived and the weight of school is off our shoulders, therefore it’s the best time to bond with family since being away at college. Spend time with your loved ones because they have missed you and trust me, winter break will be over before we know it so cherish the time while you have it.

Finals week is over and its time to take a deep breath and let it out because we have worked so hard and it’s finally time to RELAX!
