It is pretty widely known that the 90's provided us with some of the best alternative music that we all still enjoy today. It is even debatable that this era produced the best alternative music of all-time. With the emergence of bands such as blink-182 and Oasis, the music world was changed forever.

1. Semi-Charmed Life - Third Eye Blind

With Third Eye Blind you really can't go wrong honestly.

2. All the Small Things - Blink 182

Blink-182 always just makes you wanna jump around and wreak havoc.

3. Scar Tissue - Red Hot Chili Peppers

Although I may be bias because they're my favorite band, the Red Hot Chili Peppers contributed immensely to the rock/alternative music scene with their popular hits.

4. Say it Ain't So - Weezer

This song is perfect for any occasion like I really promise.

5. Wonderwall - Oasis

A fan-favorite, Wonderwall was the song that "put Oasis' foot in the door" in the music industry, and always a great song to listen to.

6. Losing My Religion - R.E.M.

Losing My Religion is a super catchy song that many still listen to and appreciate today.

7. What I Got - Sublime

Sublime was a huge contributor to the 90's alternative music scene, introducing a unique, reggae-like sound to their songs that became their signature sound.

8. One Headlight - The Wallflowers

A personal favorite of mine, One Headlight is The Wallflowers' most famous song.

9. Come as You Are - Nirvana

It's hard to describe 90's alternative music without including Nirvana, as they provided multiple albums during this time period that are often commonly associated with the 90's era.

10. When I Come Around - Green Day

Green Day has always been iconic, no matter the time period. But their 90's music really set the stage for their future success and popularity to come.

11. Bitter Sweet Symphony - The Verve

This is the perfect song for when you just need to kick back and take a breather. A very popular song that is known for its calming melody and beautiful orchestra, most people would be able to recognize this track if heard somewhere.

12. Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden

This band later renamed Audioslave, this song represents the epitome of 90's alternative music.

13. Under the Bridge - Red Hot Chili Peppers

Another one from my favorite band, Under the Bridge is one of their most popular hits, especially during the 90's. It remained on the top of the charts for multiple weeks after its release.

14. Closing Time - Semisonic

A personal favorite for most people, this song is beyond catchy and is impossible to not sing along to. Semisonic opened a new door with the release of this song, as many people swooned over it and still have it on their playlists today.

15. Fly Away - Lenny Kravitz

Lenny Kravitz always produces unique songs, and this one in particular got stuck in the heads of many. I even remember singing it on the deck of my house when I was little, so it clearly affected different ages of people.

16. Santeria - Sublime

Another one from Sublime to reiterate their importance during this era, Santeria is debatably their most popular song to-date.

17. Creep - Radiohead

Radiohead has always been a substantial contributor to the music world for decades on end, and Creep definitely remains as one of their most prominent songs.

18. No Rain - Blind Melon

A unique sound for the alternative scene during this decade, Blind Melon creates a cheerful track with No Rain, and it seemed to please many. It's hard not to be put in a good mood while listening to this song.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
