We meet people in life that teach us lessons, and these lessons vary depeding on who you meet. Someone might pop into your life to show you how happy you can be, and that everything is okay. I understand wanting to be independent and in control of your own fate, but you're not in total control. It is okay to not be in control. In life we might need another person to show us a different way, and help us to understand that it is okay to let our guard down. Friends can help you enjoy life more, but losing a friend helps you understand the idea of loss-- but you will persevere. You might meet someone who didn't even matter to you six months ago, but now they are a huge part of your life. It might take someone changing all that you thought you knew, and totally changing your perspective on things. I believe that people are placed into our lives for a certain reason, and we shouldn't question it. Certain things happen to us because that's just how it should be. We might lose certain people we never thought we would lose, but it all will make sense in the end. On a happier note, we might gain people that make us blissfully happy. These people are given to us because we need them-- even if we don't think we do. A lot of the time, one might feel undeserving of such happiness, but my advice is to not question it. Let everything be the way it is because that's how it meant to be. Life has a funny way of working things out sometimes, and sometimes it is just better to go with the flow. Embrace the way things are and always try and seek the good things out of everything.
