Dear bff,

Through it all. . . the mountainous highs, and the depths of hell, you’ve had my back. I don’t want a day to pass without you knowing just how thankful I am for you. So, thank you for being my best friend, and my rock.

Thank you for constantly texting me when you know I’m feeling lonely. And not getting mad, when I get mad that you aren’t responding fast enough.

Thank you for talking me down when I’m in the middle of a panic attack. When I feel like the world is caving in you seem to lighten the skies.

Thank you for always making me laugh, just you being your sassy self, always tends to put me in a better mood.

Thank you for sending me pictures of puppies, just to make me smile.

Thank you for dealing with me when I cranky. I know that can’t be easy, because man I can be sassy. (It’s a trait I picked up on from you).

Thank you for reminding me that I’m not always going to get what I want and that things aren’t always going to go my way. And for helping me deal with the reality of that.

Thank you for being proud of me. For all of your encouraging, thoughtful words. You’ve helped me believe in myself.

Thank you for showing me that we can both mess up a million and ten times, and we are still going to have each other. We have our ups and our downs, but we always seem to recover from those downs and start right back over.

Thank you for giving me faith that everything is going to be okay.

When it felt like there was no rising from the ashes in my future, you helped me glue back together the pieces that crumbled. You’ve never let me feel unloved, or unworthy. You constantly remind me that I deserve the best. Because of that, thank you for reminding me when I’m making decisions that won’t lead to my happiness, regardless of if the truth hurt or not.

You’ve helped me see clearly. You’ve helped me see God’s plan for me. You’ve helped me find my confidence in who I am. You’ve helped me become who I am today. You’ve seen me at my weakest, more than anyone ever has, and you’re still by my side. For that I am forever grateful.

For YOU I am forever grateful. You are truly God’s gift to me.
