We have all seen beautiful love stories on the news of couples who have been together for decades. These people are the models of what it is like to find the perfect other half. Fortunately, true love does exist, and there is a person (if not more than one) for everyone out there. It is just that the world is a big place, and it takes quite some time to finally find that person, but it is possible. I, myself, believe I have met my other half, and when you meet yours, there are certain feelings and realizations that you experience that show he or she really is the one and the only you want to be with.
After you have been with that special person for a while, looking back, you might feel as if the way you met each other might be been predestined. That first moment you saw each other, you both felt a spark, and you experienced that strong, inexplicable connection when you first had a conversation to get to know each other more.
Don't get me wrong, every couple experiences these moments, but the couples that cherish them and still feel excited when just thinking about those memories are the ones that still feel strongly and passionately for each other. Sometimes, just reminiscing on the first few encounters you had together does make you bond with each other more. When you find the one, you will know, because you don't just fall in love with the new memories you have made together, but with the memories that brought you two to where you are today.
Each of us grows up with a few set mentalities that we do not necessary want to break, but somehow, that special person makes us do things that we thought we would never do. For example, before, when you were single, you would believe that a relationship requires some distance, but when you are with that person, you just want to stay there by their side. Somehow, even a few hours after saying goodbye, you begin to crave the presence of that person. It is not that you are needy, but it is that with the person next to you, life seems more joyous.
The one is the person that changes you without you realizing or forcing it. The one is the person that makes you feel ways that you have never felt before, and you love that he or she can do that.
When two individuals find great love together, and they really are meant to be together, no obstacles can separate them. There might be moments when things seem unsolvable or too complicated, but regardless, these two people will try to make it work. Sometimes one person might lose focus on the relationship, but the other person will be there to remind them of how important they are to each other. The one and the only will be there for you. The one and the only will love you for your flaws and your weak moments. The one and the only will stand by your side to make it last forever.
