15 Precise Times 'The Office' Was Actually Just Your College Mood

"The Office" is one of my favorite shows.

I binge watch it on Netflix literally all the time.

For those of you who haven’t watched "The Office," I highly recommend it. It’s filmed as a documentary, following the lives of the employees of Dunder-Mifflin Scranton, a branch of a paper company that’s slowly going under. I promise the show is a lot more eventful and humorous than I lead on.

I find the situational comedy of the show painfully awkward, but extremely relatable. While I don’t necessarily work in an actual office, I do find that the dynamic between characters and the events that occur at this workplace are comparable to my experiences I’ve been through in college.

I am blessed to be able to have a college experience, but that doesn’t mean it’s not stressful and I’m not having mental breakdowns every week.

The interactions I have with my friends, classmates, and professors, I feel, are not exclusive to myself, but ones that every college student can understand.

1. When you're taking a school picture you just know is going to turn out bad.

2. When you have two tests, three projects, and an essay due in the upcoming week.

3. That mood after you buy all of your textbooks and you need to buy another access code for homework.

4. When your friends are going out, but you have to stay in and study.

5. The feeling when your professor explains something really complicated but then says, 'it's just something you should know.'

6. Tfw you've run out of meal swipes for the week and it's only Wednesday.

7. That annoying moment when people stop and talk in the middle of doorways. Yes, doorways.

8. When your student loan debt is racking up and you see no other option.

9. When you get your scores back from your first round of tests.

10. When the professor dismisses class early but then people start to ask questions so you have to stay the full time.

11. When your professor assigns a group project.

12. And then no one in your group helps...

13. When the prof puts information on the test that you didn't even go over in class.

14. That feeling when you're trying to save up time for a nap.

15. But you get through it all knowing everyone on campus feels the same way.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
