Pinterest has truly changed every young girl's life in one way or another. We've all pinned hundreds, if not thousands, of pins ranging from our future house, children, wedding, any and every food, and of course, crafts. Pinterest is full of crafts and DIYs that "everyone" can do. That is, everyone except the artistically impaired. I love getting on Pinterest and seeing canvases that people have painted, the perfect handwriting, perfectly painted, beautiful canvas.

Painting isn't the only craft on Pinterest I have tried and failed at. I have been attempting for almost 2 months to learn calligraphy, I can't even get one letter down. I've watched tutorials, bought a step by step book, and even traced letters, and have gotten nowhere. I will forever be envious of girls that naturally have amazing handwriting.
I'm almost positive I have tried (and failed) every type of craft possible on Pinterest. Most recently I saw these really cool looking mugs. Very simple DIY project.
I added way too much nail polish and it came out wrong. It was one of those "oh that's so simple," then feeling dumb when it came out all wrong. Which honestly that's pretty much how all my crafting and painting attempts end up.
Does this stop me from buying an enormous amount of canvases and an unhealthy amount of paint, rhinestones, and glitter? Absolutely not. Does this make me stop *attempting* to craft even though I know its going to turn out horribly wrong? Not even a little bit. I will continue to buy all of these in hopes that I will eventually get better at painting and crafting. That's definitely not the way that works, but you never know. Crazier things have happened.
