The Night To Remember

Prom night

The Night To Remember
Lexi Robinson

Prom is several nights thrown all into one, the countless days spent searching for the "right" dress, scrolling through Pinterest boards to find the perfect updo for your hair, mani and pedis, shoe shopping, narrowing down which awesome group of people you want to attend prom with, finding the perfect date, buying your tickets, and much, much more. They all lead up to things that make your night so amazing, such as the millions of pictures you, your date, and your friends take, the knots of nerves in your stomach as you're getting closer and closer to your name being announced as your standing behind the bleachers filled with loved ones, the wonderful food your date pays for (or should). Your first slow dance song as butterflies surround your stomach, giggling with your friends at their (and your own) funny dance moves to the fast songs, and if you're lucky like me, you and your friends rent a party bus and have a very exciting evening! All of those moments are what lead up to prom being so wonderful. If you ever have the opportunity to go to prom, go! It will be one of your best experiences of high school, it is something you never want to miss out on, guys even though it's not as fun for you, (or so you think) you will have a great time too! By the time you blink the night will be over, girls those countless days will just be a memory. One that you will cherish forever. I can guarantee you that you won't regret it! Memories last forever, people don't. Make memories with those you love while you can! What is there to lose out on? After all, no ones going to remember if you were a bad dancer anyways besides yourself, am I right? :)

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
