The Nature of Existence

Simple, it is.

The Nature of Existence
Star Wars

We are luminous beings, and we are the way that we are. Feelings, they're not a concrete thing. The passing of an event and the how of it are merely subjective passings. I realize now that in the search for the objective the subjective becomes forgotten. It becomes relatively pointless to the objective.

The objective can only be experienced within the subjective. Searching for the objective within the subjective allows you merely to find the nature of the subjective, the objective does not exist separately. It is one with the subjective. The objective is simply a construct that is created by the compilation of the subjective.

Things appear to exist separately of one another such as a basketball and a blade of grass. However, things don't exist separately because they are part of the entirety of existing. Such is the way energy is, in that it flows between here and there, it merely takes on what could be seen as infinitely many forms.

A great accomplishment is to see the world through the eyes of another. To understand the world as they see it. Darkness can become so dark, you don't even know there is light. This is sad indeed. The inherent greatness within all beings beckons that the truth comes forward. I say we are luminous, because we can choose.

At any moment we have the power to change the world, but we need the world. There is a light within us that is the human spirit. That in some way or another finds its way forward. Perhaps this is but a passing dream.

The Path, it is the walk of life, it is the entirety of your life. It is akin to being alive vs living. To truly experience the greatness of the world and more importantly, to understand its greatness.

We will realize that the Earth is not a tool to bend to our will, it is rather something we have taken as our own. We need it though, we are the guardians of the Earth. We are its keeper as it is ours. Just as earlier in the subjective and objective part, we exist as one. Get rid of humans and we won't exist to know we did, get rid of the Earth and we won't be here.

That which seems beyond, in the infinite vastness of everything outward, is no different from the infinite vastness inwards. Meditation within meditation, going infinitely deep into the mind. It is here you will begin to understand, and then you will see you always did. We merely forget we understand because of the society in which we come in to tell us otherwise in every way possible.

How are you feeling? How are you doing? "The entire universe." That's probably not the proper universe. You could claim anything you want, social inadequacy or the like, and these claims would be due to your assumptions of being. Feeling is much like the way of being. It's something within you, what might be happy today, could be sad tomorrow. The question generally searches for some type of answer. Having the nature of the answer in mind you ask the question.

If you are unaware of the nature and extent of existence and the nature of it, no question can be asked. This is why the only way for the question to be asked is to reach the vastness of existence and its true nature.

It seems paradoxical. When people ask questions, you can teach them what they don't know. But if they cannot even ask the question, you must look beyond. Every individual is different and understanding this is key, because they will only learn the answers by asking the questions to themselves. They'll only learn the questions by realizing that they exist, and the nature of their existence.

We choose how we exist, and that's a choice we must always make.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
