Imagine being on a plane that is supposed to land at its destination in a couple of hours, but in reality, 5 years pass by?

Imagine how terrifying it can be to see all your family grown up after those years, to see how life went on without you, how you missed five years of your loved ones' life?!

Imagine how unusual and mysterious it is to come back, after everyone thought you were dead?

Imagine how terrible it is to find out not only that you missed 5 years of your life but that you missed 5 years of their life, that your kids are grown up, life changed and not only weren't you there, but, you feel like a stranger for them.

Imagine how shocking it can be to find out that the people you have loved, are gone, and you weren't there to grieve them.

Imagine how strange it can be that after spending just a couple of hours on that plane, you land in an airport where the police tell you that the flight was missing for years, and after coming back you're absolutely identical from the departure, that you didn't change at all.

Imagine how awful it can be to find out that your boyfriend married your best friend. Well, all of this is not very easy to handle, and especially it's not easy to start over.

This is the plot of the most watched show in the USA this fall. Everyone knows about it, everyone is seeing it, and of course it's a thrilling and original intrigue. A mysterious and very fictional tv series, that has left everyone connected to the screens, and desperately waiting for the next episode to know what's going to happen to Michaela, Jared, and Ben, starring Melissa Roxburgh, J.R. Ramirez and Josh Dallas. We all saw the fall finale two weeks ago, and it was spectacular as always. We know that it is a fictional show, very far from reality, well, we all hope so…no one would like to be on that plane like the protagonists of Manifest, that's for sure!

What mysterious things hide in this series?

Why are the passengers listening to voices, seeing strange things and need to solve missing puzzles, and save people?

What happened to them while they were in the sky for so long?

Were they helped by a superior entity, that saved them and brought them to life for the second time? Does God give them a second chance, a second opportunity to live? That can make you think.

Or, perhaps, are they aliens, that have special powers to save humans?

Whoever watches Manifest, asks these questions, but we still don't know the answers, because the creator, Jeff Rake is very good in not revealing anything until the last episodes. The only thing to do is to wait for the New Year to come, to find out, so that all our doubts can be solved. And, of course, giving a romantic turn to the story, hoping for Michaela and Jared to get back together. I bet they will!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
