There's nothing like the "Great Minnesota Get-Together." The mosquitos, the fried food, the masses of people crowded into a 320 acre space, the music, the parking, and, most importantly, the fun. People travel from around the country to see this huge exhibit of Minnesotan's idea of enjoyment. As a Minnesota native, there are many, many, many thoughts that come to mind when I think of the Minnesota State Fair. Here are 30 of them as told by Disney characters.

1. Well, another year, another State Fair season. Do I have to go the the fair if I live in Minnesota?

2. Is that even a question? Of course I have to.

3. Let's see...maybe if I go on a Monday it might not be a cattle call of people? No, that's what everything will be thinking.

4. Whatever. I'll just go on a weekend day and work on my people surfing skills.

5. Maybe I should find some friends to go with. That way someone can monitor how many cheese curds I buy.

6. Oh, you're already going? Naturally, it's the Fair.

7. Okay, I have to put myself on a budget this year. There's no way I'm spending half my paycheck on the Fair again this year.

8. Wow, there's a bus that will take me straight to the fair?

9. You mean I don't have to deal with crazed parkers trying to be "Minnesota-nice" but still get a prime parking spot as if they're an animal vying for the last bit of food?

10. Sign me up for that!

11. Tickets are HOW much??

12. Fine. I'll cough it up. The Fair only happens once a year. So much for saving my paycheck.

13. I seriously believe the Fair gets bigger every year.

14. I wonder how many of these people are actually from Minnesota...

15. Heh. I bet a bunch from Wisconsin and Iowa are here just for the fair.

16. Well, the Fair and the shopping. But, mostly the Fair.

17. Anyways. Where are my friends?

18. Oh no, I'll NEVER find them in this crowd.

19. That's it. I'm calling them.

20. They're by a cheese curds stand? Well that helps. Not like there are a billion cheese curds stands or anything.

21. Wait, are we known for cheese? Eh, we're Minnesota. We're known for everything.

22. Oh my gosh there's so much fried food. I want it ALL. Wait, fried pickles? Gross. Maybe not all of it...

23. Whoops, sorry small child I almost knocked over. Hope I didn't just ruin your family's day at the fair.

24. SWEET MARTHA'S COOKIES.

25. Screw the budget plan. I'm getting a whole bucket of those. I mean, it'll last me a while, right?

26. Eh, who am I kidding? They'll be gone by tomorrow morning. Whatever. You didn't actually go to the fair if you didn't get Sweet Martha's.

27. How are they so delicious. WHAT IS THE SECRET, SWEET MARTHA'S.

28. It's getting a bit dark out. I should think about going home soon.

29. Now how do I get out of here...

30. Well, Minnesota, you've outdone yourself yet again. See you next year, State fair.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
