Today was one of those days... One of those days where you don't get out of bed until the sun is setting (looking at you daylight savings) and you realize you've wasted your entire day looking up weird sh*t on the internet. Fueled by YouTube's "recommended for you" feature and an affinity for conspiracy theories, I stumbled across this video outlining high-profile accounts of supposed encounters with the "Men in Black;" a group of men that intimidate those who have witnessed extraterrestrial life or UFO's into staying quiet (the funniest part is that Dan Aykroyd is number 1. And no, its not because he was in Ghostbusters.)
The craziest story (in my opinion) is the one from the thumbnail: Supposedly this father and his daughter were in some field alone when he decided to take a picture of his daughter. When he got the picture developed, he was surprised to see a figure in the background as there was no one else with them that looked like that when he took the picture. He sent the picture to the police, Kodak (who later concluded that there was no tampering with the photo), and the media looking for answers. He began getting letters from all across the world as this "spaceman" photo was popularized as purported evidence of extraterrestrial life. A few weeks later, the father, actively avoiding media attention and keeping a relatively low profile, claims to have been approached by a group of black suit-clad men asking to be shown the site of the photo for government analysis. After the father obliged, these men reportedly started berating the man, telling him that he was mistaken, that there was someone there with him that day, and that he should never speak of it again. They then got into their car and sped away, leaving him stranded miles away from home.
Obviously don't believe this at all (don't come to my apartment, Men in Black), but it's definitely worth a watch.
Also, Jack Ruby was working for LBJ.
