90s cartoon are the foundation of my childhood. I still quote them to this day. When Christmas came around, every show had their own holiday/christmas special. I remember all of them being amazing and each of them had their own perspective on the Holidays. It was great and really got me excited for the holidays. So, here is the meaning of the Holidays told by your favorite 90s cartoons. Enjoy! :)

Spongebob Squarepants: "I didn't bring Christmas to Bikini Bottom, Spongebob; you did."

Santa Claus doesn't always need to be there to make Christmas great. It's about the people that spread the Christmas cheer that make it memorable.

Hey Arnold: "Christmas is special. It's about showing the people you are close to that you really care about them."

It's not about the money value of the presents you give. It's about the heart and love you put into them that shows your loved ones that you really care.

Rugrats: "You kids can keep your high tech Holiday hooblah. In my day, all you needed for Christmas was Bing Crosby, a comfy chair, and a hot cup of coco."

Christmas doesn't have to be all flashy, as long as you are with the people you love.

Fairly Odd Parents: "It isn't the gifts. It isn't the toys. It's the family and friends that I really enjoy."

Christmas is about the people you spend it with.

Pinky & The Brain: "Please take anything you have for me and give it to my best friend in the whole world, the Brain."

Christmas is about giving, not receiving.

Recess: "Just because you can't see something with your eyes or hear something with your ears, doesn't mean it's not real. Somethings exists in your heart."

Sometimes the things that can mean most to you can't be seen or heard. It's the things that make you all warm and fussy inside.

During the holidays, it may be hard to not get distracted by all the physical things and the flashy decorations. As you get older, you realize that it isn't always about the presents and decor. It is a lot about what you love in your heart and the people you care about. So no matter what holiday you celebrate, I hope you have a great one and show your loved ones that you care.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
