It's a competition of who's who during song and dance.

I've never really kept up with any reality TV show, but my friends got me hooked on the Masked Singer faster than you can sing the ABC's. If you don't know how this show works, they have a selection of celebrities masked while singing our hearts out. Each week, one celebrity is unmasked and eliminated from the competition. Not all of the stars are professional singers; some are professional athletes or actors/actresses. So far they have removed four competitors, *spoiler alerts* we've lost Hippo, Pineapple, Deer, and Poodle have had their identities exposed. With only eight people left on stage, I have done some research on the web and friends to try to figure out who is underneath these disguises. Here are my 8 guesses of who is still left standing (and singing).

Peacock is Donny Osmond covered in feathers

My guess for who the Peacock is the one and only Donny Osmond. He started his career out young and hasn't stopped yet since. After hearing the peacock sing for the first time, I recognized the voice from the countless memories of watching Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and of course the one song so many of us know Be a Man. If you want to hear the peacock's performance here is The Masked Singer.

You can find Monster in a gray Cadillac because he's T-Pain

The Monster has been prejudged and outcasted, and after hearing his voice I believe that this secret singer is T-Pain. You might think, what? T-Pain? He uses autotune and is a rapper, he can't sing. Well my friends, gather close and click this link to listen to a mashup of T-Pain classics but with him just singing without autotune. Here is the Monster's performance of Don't Stop Me Now, and now sit and wonder who is behind this fuzzy costume.

The mysterious spell has lifted because Unicorn is Tori Spelling

The Unicorn talks about how she is called "Bird," and Tori is known for her nickname "Bird." Add in the fact of the other clues like she has grown up with a magical in Hollywood with famous family. Unicorn also held five little baby unicorns, and Tori has 5 kids. Coincidence, I think not people!!! She talked about how she used to the runway; maybe she was talking about an airport runway.

Rumor has it that Lion is Rumer Willis

In her second appearance, there is the video of her reading a newspaper with the headline, "Gold Found in Hailey." Rumer lives in Hailey, Utah right now. The Lion also has promoted her using her voice not just for singing but for sharing what she believes in and pushes her lion pride to also stand up for what they believe in. Rumer is a huge activist for women's rights. No matter who is underneath the mask, I am part of Lion's pride.

Hop on the Joey Fatone is the Rabbit bandwagon

The Rabbit has a comedic persona even though he is kind of a creepy, twitchy Trix rabbit gone bad. The Rabbit's singing seems to fit his Joeys tone and voice. Some people are saying that Joey isn't the Rabbit because he did an interview and denied it but think about it. Why would he say he was the rabbit when the entire show is about anonymous till either you lose or win. I know people are saying are saying JC Chasez is actually the Rabbit, but listen to his voice, and they are different. If you don't believe me, then bye bye bye...

Alien's out of this world performances point towards La Toya Jackson

Alien

Alien expressed being only a young girl before her family came into fame, and the Jackson 5 stared the young Jackson family. Also, another clue that points to Jackson is in the second episode it shows five aliens in a row after mentioning that anonymity is an "alien" concept. Another clue is the snake toy in the fourth episode; La Toya is famous for posing in a magazine picture with a snake.

Ricki Lake and Raven both start with R because they're the same person

Raven is treating this show as a therapeutic approach to heal from some painful situations that have happened to her in the past few years. Ricki Lake lost her ex-husband recently. The Raven expressed how she has listened to people, but also talks a lot. Ricki Lake had her own talk-show for a long time, and with that career, you do a lot of listening and talking with the guests and audience. Another major clue that makes me think it is Ricki is that the Raven says it is from Hudson and the number 1968 appeared on the screen. Ricki is from Hudson and was born in 1968.

The Empress Bee is Gladys Knight

From the first episode featuring this masked celebrity, she used the clue of being an empress, and that specific word has stood out to me ever since. Gladys Knight is known as the "Empress of Soul," and with Bee's beautiful singing voice is very similar to Gladys Knight. The Bee has expressed how she wants to stay with the times and sing current songs, giving a hint to her older age.

If you haven't started watching this show, you need to start and play this guessing game of who is behind the mask. I know I am always thinking and researching after hearing the clues trying to guess who they are before the judges do. So if you hear me yelling "take it off" while watching TV, I'm watching the Masked Singer and wanting to know who is getting unmasked.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
