Since a young age, I've been lucky enough to call my parents my best friends. Through everything, even my dreadful pre teen years, they stood by me and didn't kick my, sometimes unappreciative, ass out of the house. Although they're both my best friends, my mom's a bigger fan of articles like this, so this one's for you mom. Thanks for reminding me every day how important it is to be true to myself, kind, and confident. You truly are the Lorelai to my Rory, here's a few reasons why...

1. You give me unconditional love, even when I'm being a pain.

2. You know how to pick me up when I'm having a crappy day, whether it be telling a joke or taking an emergency ice cream trip.

3. Even if you had just as bad of a day.

4. You're in on the latest "gossip" and always willing to give me advice on how to handle it.

5. Your love of coffee has rubbed off on me, but it makes Starbucks or Dunkin trips less lonely.

6. Although you deserve the world and more, you want me to be happy, even if that means I can't buy you a mansion

7. Despite our love of sweets, we'd still choose each other over the cake, even if it's tempting.

8. The list could go on forever, but just how the bond Lorelai and Rory share is undeniable, so is ours. Love you to the moon and back!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
