Speaking from personal experience, I can say that the results you get from different aspects of your life all come down to how much of a priority that certain aspect was. As a college student, it becomes necessary for one to prioritize many things. You are left to prioritize your academics, boyfriend, friends, fun, sleep, alone time, job, and sports or activities. Personally, I try to make time for each of these aspects of my life, even if it becomes too stressful at times.
First and foremost will always be academics. So many students get caught up with the party life and social aspect that they let their grades slip. College is the formation of your future. Your grades count more now than they ever have in the past, and ever will in the future. Your GPA is put on a resume, which you hand your future boss. Also, without a high enough GPA, you won’t have access to great internships because most of them require a 3.5 and higher.
Now, by all means I’m not saying that the only thing you should do is study. You also should have fun and go out. Growing up is all about experiencing new things and learning from your mistakes. A huge value to always make time for also is your friends and family. When everything else fails, your family will always be there. Your grandparents won't always be there so make memories with them while you can. Friends are what make life fun crazy and worthwhile.
Make time for your friends and always be kind. You never know when one of your friends can help land you a job or help you in the future. As for sports and activities, they do not just keep you happy, but also healthy. You make friends and it is always good to feel a part of something. Success comes from balance. If you can balance all of your priorities equally, you will do just fine. Life is all about hard work and determination.
