There comes a time in our lives when we get to live out dreams we had when we were younger. We get to graduate high school. We get to go to college and get a degree. We get a job, get married, and have a family. In this case, we get to see Justin Bieber in concert — a dream I've had from the very beginning.
Once upon a time, I was in middle school. I recall being an avid YouTuber back then. Every day I would scroll through and find funny videos and a few songs along the way to watch. One day in particular I chose to click on a video of the cutest boy ever with the title "One Time." It was love a first sight. From that day, I had the dream that one day I would get to be in the same room as Justin and sing along to his amazing voice. In the year of 2016, my dream came true. My wonderful mother surprised me on Christmas morning with tickets to see the one and only JB — I cried. The count down then began to one of the greatest days of my life.
I know that each and every one of you that filled the stadium at the Purpose Tour went through the same stages of excitement that I did, and JB himself was feeling the same emotions every step of the way.
1. When you got your tickets.
When I opened up those those tickets, it was quite honestly one of the best moments of my life.
2. When the one month countdown began.
Let's be real, you probably had a countdown on your phone from the day you got the tickets.
3. When you were finally on the way to the concert.
We got in the car, set it on Justin Bieber radio, and jammed out until we arrived.
4. When you got to your seat, and all you could do is wait.
At this point, all you could do was sit and wait.
5. When the lights dimmed.
All of you concert people know this moment. When the lights go dim that means the show is about to start and every one goes crazy!
6. When Moxie Raia came out on stage.
I had no idea who this girl was. She turned out to be pretty awesome, actually!
7. When Post Malone started singing "White Iverson."
"Saucin', saucin', I'm saucin' on you, I'm swaggin', I'm swaggin', I'm swaggin' oh ooh, I'm ballin', I'm ballin', Iverson on you." Yep, you just sang that in your head!
8. When Justin finally came out!
This was the moment we had all been waiting for!
9. Your face the entire concert.
The entire show, all you could do was scream or stare in awe.
10. When they brought out a couch on stage and he played "Love Yourself" on the acoustic guitar.
We had all been waiting for this song all night, and Justin performed it the best way possible.
11. When he brought out the guest artists.
Whether you had Ludacris come out and sing his part in "Baby," or you had Akon and Usher, you freaked out!
12. When it started raining on stage while JB sang.
OK, I see you JB!
13. When he got done singing "Sorry" and he was leaving the stage for the last time.
The moment it was over, you were already sad that he was gone.
14. When you were on the way home.
You were still shaking on the way home because of all the excitement.
15. When you got in bed that night, and still couldn't believe you saw Justin in concert and your dream came true.
The Purpose Tour was truly an amazing experience that I will never forget!
