The iPhone 7: Worth The Buy?

It seems almost as soon as one has updated themselves to a new iPhone, Apple has already released a newer version. However, newer does not always mean improved. Usually, it just means a higher price tag and a very steep hole in your wallet. With the iPhone 7, Apple has removed the beloved, traditional headphone jack, and it is unclear whether such a move is innovative or crazy. Without the headphone jack, the new iPhone 7 now has room for a bigger, long lasting battery. That is really the only major, beneficial change to the iPhone 7. And with the release of the wireless earphones, you're lucky if you don't lose them or if your child doesn't choke on them. They're a tad tinier than what many people were expecting.If you were expecting a completely new design you'll be disappointed, because nothing has really changed design wise. Besides the fact that it has two new colors, jet black and matte black, which aren't very flattering to me personally, the look of the iPhone remains the same.

Despite the design being unremarkable, like all iPhone cameras, the iPhone 7's camera is definitely the most exciting feature. It has a new lens, new image processor, and optical image stabilization. This just means that pictures will turn out clearer as well as allowing for better color within the photo. Although in regular lighting it is unlikely to notice the difference between an iPhone 6s and an iPhone 7 camera, the iPhone 7's camera really shines in low lighting situations. It has a new flash with four LED lights. And although many people asked for a more durable screen, Apple gave us a waterproof iPhone and new home button. Instead of the traditional clicking of the home button, it is now pressure sensitive and does not move. Changing this has allowed the new iPhone to be more dust and water resistant. Apple has also dumped the 16GB iPhone and the iPhone 7 is now available in only 32GB and up. In short, if you're okay with a very gaping hole in your pocket and feeling there urge to upgrade again next September, the iPhone 7 is worth the buy for you.
