We have all been there before.

Confessions Of An Indecisive Person: The indecision ultimatum

It's a craze that has swept the world ever since the beginning of humankind, (or is it mankind?) Indecisive people have driven us all insane (No wait it is humankind). Whether it is taking 3 hours at a store to pick out the right colored shoes, being fickle and flighty in relationships, or even agonizing over the important life choices. All of us are at one time in our lives indecisive, but some people are worse at making decisions than others. As a person who is indecisive a lot herself, I can tell you exactly how it all goes.

It starts with something simple like not knowing what flavor of ice cream you want…

Indecisive person: “Hmm Chocolate or vanilla. Wait you're telling me there are 22 other flavors?”

Friend: “Just pick something already!

All of us indecisive people have heard this line before and for us having all of your favorite things in one place can mean more harm than good.

Of course this is after deciding if you want ice-cream at all…

Indecisive person: “Do i feel like Ice Cream or taco’s? I’m not too sure”

Friend: “You have got to be kidding me! They are not even alike!”

The saying, "the world is your oyster" somehow makes us indecisive people seem more limited

Sometimes when you have a decision made, other choices come your way and just ruin it.

Indecisive person: Wait you're telling me I can get sprinkles too?

Friend: *Death stares at the person who mentioned sprinkles*

Yup, the choices just never seem to end.

Forget making decisions about bigger and more important things.

Indecisive person: “HMMMM I don't think I want to study chemistry, anymore. I think I’m changing my major to English”

Friend: “You're never going to graduate in time are you?”

Picking a college major can be the most difficult choice for us indecisive people. We are the ones sticking around well through sophomore year with the dreaded Undeclared label. It can be a lot of pressure deciding what you want to do with your life at 18.

The people who work "Returns" see us coming from a mile away.

Indecisive person: "Wait! can we make a quick stop at Wal-Mart so I can return some stuff?"

Friend: "Why the did you buy the stuff just to return it? Plus the return line is sooo long!"

Sometimes we'll buy stuff, especially clothing just to find out that we didn’t like it that much after all. When picking out a college bed spread, I must have returned and re- bought one 6 different times

Relationships are tricky.

Indecisive person: “Do I really like him? I’m not too sure. Should I go out with him or should I not?"

Friend: "Didn’t you just say you were into him just an hour ago? What happened?"

Us indecisive people just love to weigh every option we get on a scale including love interests, and when we aren’t sure about a person we tend to weigh their good qualities against their bad. When the scale is balanced it drives us crazy. Unless we are 100% sure about the person, relationships with us hardly ever last.

Although we can be pain in the necks sometimes, we are lucky to have the best people ever to help guide us

Indecisive person: "I don’t know if I like my college major anymore."

Friend: Listen: "You picked this because you truly like it, now you are going to stick with your choice because if you don’t you will regret it."

Early freshman year I talked to my parents about changing my college major and they talked me out of it because they know me well. If I changed I would have definitely regretted it. Although it gets difficult, sometimes it is best to stick with your first decision because you never know what you will find unless you finish the path you started.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
