The Importance Of Breakfast Foods
Nutritious Food

They say, that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I think, that breakfast is one of the most underrated types of food on the market. For me breakfast is one of those that can make or break the whole day. If breakfast starts out bad, than my day will be bad. If it starts out good, than my day will be good. If the day ends with breakfast, than tomorrow has a little head start on being a good day.

There are two types of people in this world. The type who eat breakfast everyday and the type who do not. The type who do not are types of people I can kind of relate too. My whole life I have been a breakfast person but recently I became the type of person I misunderstood the most. The type who do not eat breakfast. My first year of college I almost never ate breakfast. Looking back on my time of never consuming breakfast foods I noticed something. Something was missing. I had forgotten the importance of breakfast foods.

This summer I have rediscovered the importance of breakfast foods. Like I said earlier, breakfast can influence your entire day. Over the past couple weeks I have noticed that if I do not get my breakfast bagel at some point throughout the morning or even early afternoon, my whole day is thrown off. It is sort of like a whole chunk of my daily routine has been skipped.

Breakfast is also the sort of thing that brings people together. Meeting a friend for breakfast or brunch is so much more casual and chill than meeting a friend for dinner. Whenever my friends ask me to dinner I stress because then they are going to want to dress up too. I like just rolling out bed and driving down to Waffle House or some diner and just having a relaxed morning.

A huge aspect of breakfast foods that people can tend to miss is the fact it can be enjoyed at any time of day. Does lasagna or steak sound appetizing at 8 a.m and 8 p.m? Not really, but pancakes and french toast sure does. Growing up, whenever Mom struggled to think of what to make for dinner, we always ended up eating breakfast. I think that breakfast consumed between 10 p.m - 7 a.m tends to taste better.

Oh and we must not forget, the arguably, best part about breakfast foods! They can be dressed up. Sure you could have just regular plain old pancakes. Or you could have pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream or chocolate chip pancakes. Breakfast foods have endless amounts of toppings which makes the already most appetizing food even more appetizing.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
