Planning on hitting the gym after class? Not planning on hitting the gym after class? Want to feel comfortable all day long? You may want to keep reading.

If there’s one single most profound fashion trend happening right now it’s athleisure. Whether you’re en route to class, running errands, or out to lunch (okay maybe even drinks, too) active wear is the outfit of choice for women of all ages. And the best part? Nobody is going to judge you whether you made it to that spin class or not.

More and more, designers and fresh new companies are coming out with athleisure lines, jumping on board with the trend. We can count on the already well known athletic companies such as Nike, Adidas, and Lululemon. But take for example, designers like Rebecca Minkoff, Karl Legerfeld, Mara Hoffman, and Tory Burch, among many others who are also taking part.

It’s easy to look at Gigi or Kendall sporting the look on the streets of NYC, but it’s a whole other playing field when you’re not a 5’ 8” goddess with a personal trainer. Here are 5 tips to rock the look:

1. Consider your kicks.

Odds are, if your sneakers are old and beat up, your outfit will take the hit. If you’re not actually going to work, try thinking outside of the (shoe) box. In accordance with the athleisure trend, casual sneakers and sliders are seriously gaining popularity. Incorporate these into your look to create a balance of comfort and style.

2. Consider your body type

We all know your favorite celebrity on Instagram can pull off the sports bra sans-shirt (hello ab goals,) but when it comes to athleisure, consider your own shape and wear what you’re most comfortable in. The great thing about athleisure is that there are options that flatter any body type.

3. Get it together

To avoid looking like you just rolled out of bed, consider the whole ensemble rather than piece by piece.

4. Invest on quality

I know spending $100 on a pair of pants may seem crazy and hard to justify but in the long run, it is probably worth it. Cheaper, lower quality brands tend to be see through, not fit your body well, or will only last you for a few washes. When it comes to athleisure, quality over quantity.

5. Accessorize

We often think of accessories in our everyday outfits to be jewelry, hats, or any sort of embellishment. With athleisure, accessories take on a whole new meaning. Think: bags, headwear, scarves, and props that you can incorporate into your daily look.

Coziness and convenience all day? Sign me up! This trend is too comfy to go away anytime soon.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
