The 5 Snapchat Secrets You Never Knew

Does your life revolve around Snapchat? If so, then you have to hear these hacks! P.S. the last one is crazy!

1. You can get other colors on the drawing palette besides the ones shown.

Simply put your finger on the palette and drag to the left to get lighter colors. Drag to the upper left corner to get white and down to the lower left corner to get black.

2. Get back old snap filters!

On your iPhone, go to Settings, then General, and click Date and Time. Turn off Set Automatically and choose the date and time of the filter you want. For example, if you want the first set of the filters to go to Sept 15, 2015, which is the first day when these filters were updated.

3. See how many snaps you send and receive by clicking Snapchat on the screen where you send snaps.

The first number is the number of snaps you’ve sent and the second shows how many you have received.

4. If you have an Android you can use a Transparent filter.

Press the pencil and hold it down and a transparent filter comes up.

5. You can change what emojis come up next to users names.

Go to Settings and then Manage. Then click Friend Emojis and you can change what emojis correlate to what types of friends! Maybe now when your best friend says she is BFF with someone for three months she really isn’t, she just changed the emoji!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
