Because we all wish we were starting classes at Hogwarts this week instead.

In honor of surviving the first full week of classes this semester, and the heartbreaking death of the beloved Alan Rickman, here is the first week of classes, as told by the "Harry Potter" series.

1. When you finally see your friends for the first time since last semester.

2. When someone doesn't say "thank you" for holding the door open.

3. When you see couples PDAing way too hard on the way to class.

4. When you actually took the time to do your hair and the wind completely messes it up.

5. When you have back-to-back classes on the opposite ends of campus.

6. When going over course objectives on the syllabus.

7. When you prepare to gracefully introduce yourself, but end up messing it up.

8. When your teacher decides to start teaching on the first day of class.

9. And you pretend to laugh at all of your teacher's jokes in the effort to get on their good side.

10. When you can already tell who are going to be the most annoying people in your class.

11. When your professor lets you out 20 minutes early.

12. When you embarrass yourself in front of your crush for the first time in the semester.

13. When your professor assigns six chapters to read for the next class.

14. And when you attempt to do the reading but have no idea what's going on.

15. When you finally get to eat dinner after your 5 p.m. class.

16. And when you finally get to go out after a long week (because let's face it, syllabus week is just a myth).

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
