What if?
This seems to be common question among many people. The doubt, wonder and maybe even emotions that arise when thoughts appear. It creates thoughts that keep you up at night and it provides dreams that play out the other choices you could have made. You are forced to make a choice, but you simply can't choose. So you decide with the best of your abilities, but that question just keeps sitting in the back of your mind: what if?
What if I went to Florida?
What if I stayed home instead?
What if I went on that adventure?
What if I decided what is best for me?
What if I choose wrong?
What if I focused on myself for once, instead of worrying about others?
What if people find me to be selfish then?
What if I choose to prevent the situation instead of ignore it?
What if I don't know what I'm doing?
What if I don't like college?
What if I can't handle things?
What if I don't succeed in life?
Just ... what if?
There are many things that can make you question yourself; don't let anything make you question yourself.
What if, is the best part of life. Those what if's are what makes you human and what keeps the world turning. Sitting there wondering if you choose right or what will happen if you choose one option over the other. Life is short, there is only so much time to do so many things.
You need to get out there and choose without regret. If you make a mistake, try a new phrase: "Oh well."
Oh well it didn't work.
Oh well I should have chosen the other choice.
Oh well I know for next time now.
Oh well, I am just human.
Don't get down on yourself because there is not always a right choice to every problem. Let go of your "What ifs" and replace them with "Oh wells" and just live life, make mistakes and grow.
