The Eyebrows You Meet On Campus

In the past three years or so, a phenomenon has struck our culture in what I can only think to call The Eyebrowgeddon, or The Browocalypse. In any case, it seems like we've created this stigma around the furry creatures that lie on our faces. Do you even remember a time when filling in your eyebrows didn't seem like the most critical part of your beauty routine? I hope to one day see a time when we are not judged by the fullness of our eyebrows, but by the fullness of our hearts. Until then, here are the eyebrows you may meet on your campus.

The Drawn On Eyebrows

"Nice to meet you, my eyebrows went missing in a freak eyebrow accident; or I just got back from the plucking disaster that was the early-2000s. I probably take three hours to leave my dorm because of these things, but they look good, right?"

The Unplucked

"I'm a really down-to-earth girl who doesn't care enough about my eyebrows to spend money to get them waxed. I might even have an intellectual conversation with you about humanity, instead of how wasted I got at Reggie's last night."

The Overfilled

"I just learned how to do this, is it okay? I was going for the Cara Delevingne look - may have come off more Sharpie-Chic."

Darker than Hair Eyebrows

"I'm a super cool chick and most likely go to Bonnaroo every year. You're jealous of my artsy and heavily edited Instagram posts, aren't you?"

Lighter than Hair Eyebrows

"I just have a lot of issues to work through right now. I may or may not have gone through a nasty break up recently."

Colorful Eyebrows

"I just really like to party and dabble in the occasional illegal substance. Totally kidding, but I do like to think outside of the box, stand out from the crowd, and shop at Hot Topic."

The Guybrow

"I make the ladies swoon with my fantastic eyebrows. The fun part about me is you get to sleuth out whether or not I use my sister's brow powder. You'll never find out my secret."

The Unibrow

"I'm literally Frida Kahlo; bow down."

The Mother of All Eyebrows

"Saying my eyebrows are 'on fleek' would be a gross understatement. Fleek doesn't even begin to describe my fabulous life. I spend most of my time taking selfies, watching beauty tutorials on YouTube, and basking in my eyebrow glory."

The Eyebrows are the windows to the soul.
