Sunday marks the season seven finale of Game of Thrones. With one season left before the show wraps up, it has become clear that the story mainly focuses on Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow. In honor of Targaryen, who has stayed alive for the past seven seasons (which is not easy for a character on GoT), here is her evolution from season one to present day. From Dany by her abusive older brother to Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of Meereen, Queen of the Andals, and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons. Phew!


1. Season One

So innocent. She doesn't even know how strong she is going to become and the pain that will suffer through.

2. Season Two


Becoming the Mother of Dragons isn't easy.

3. Season Three


Blue is really her color.

4. Season Four


She is turning into a fine bada** if I do say so myself.

5. Season Five


White hair and white dress...clever.

6. Season Six


Pretty dresses and jewels don't make a true queen.

7. Season Seven


She may look like a girl, but she has the heart of a king.
