And not the beginning of a new one.

I think every time something in my life has come to an end, a person has been there to say some cliche thing like, "When one door closes another opens" or "An ending of one chapter is just the beginning of another one." I probably would have been okay without these words of encouragement: like I have said before I don't think everything that happens in life has significance.

But still, this is weird for me.

Not only because with this ending there is no one here to tell me these cliche things, but also because the ending of this chapter doesn't necessarily require the beginning of a new one. When I wasn't 4 anymore I was five; when I wasn't in high school anymore I was in college. Every previous ending has brought a new beginning but this, this brings nothing.

This past week is my last being a part of the George Fox University Odyssey community. This is my last article. Schoolwork has taken over my life and flooded every part of it. Although I wish I could continue writing, I don't think I would be contributing quality content anymore.

Thank you to everyone who has read my articles weekly. It's been a great run, and I have enjoyed most of it.
