The End of The Semester As Told By 'Arrested Development'

The time has finally come where the semester is winding down to a well-deserved end. But of course the last two weeks of the semester are more awful than the other 18 weeks combined because now is the time when every professor realizes they've only assigned one relevant project, quiz or test all semester and scrambles to teach you 10 weeks of material in three classes.

With that being said, I thought there was no show with characters more in shambles than you are right now than Arrested Development. So here's your final weeks of the semester as told my Michael Bluth & Co...

1. Your initial reaction to realizing there's only 16 or so days left of class.

...immediately followed by the realization you have final projects/papers you never even gave a second look.

and then realizing they're all due on the exact same day

(moral of this is that many, many mistakes were made)

2. Finding out your finals are cumulative...

...and worth a cool 40% of your overall grade for the class.

3. Thinking you've got everything under control like...

4. Trying to decide between going out and staying in to study

5. When you finish one paper only to realize you still have 2+ more

6. When all your friends get to go home early but your finals aren't over yet

7. Overall trying to keep your cool even though you're drowning in assignments

8. When you're just trying to keep things on the lighter side

9. When you're just trying to calm the nerves before an exam

10. Asking your professor to round up your grade like

11. Trying (and failing) to avoid your responsibilities like...

12. Getting your first exam grade back

13. When it's finally all over and you can go home to your dog

With all that being said, best of luck to you for finals (and pre-finals) week! And worst case scenario if college doesn't work out for you just remember...

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
