The End Of Spring Semester As Told By Michael Scott
MSECND

The end of a college year is unlike any other time in your life. It's even worse than the end of the fall semester - the struggle really is on another level. If you're currently suffering through the end of your spring semester, we can all relate.

1. Spending full days in the library, accepting your death.

2. Trying to find any piece of motivation you can.

3. Attending review sessions and office hours, but not even knowing what all you don't know.

4. And worse, when those review sessions expect you to know answers to their questions.

5. Writing those final papers with a severely dead brain.

6. So you depend on Thesaurus.com to make you sound educated.

7. When your friends are still going out, but you're drowning.

8. When your professor won't round your D to an A.

9. Discovering every flaw about yourself, during each mental breakdown.

10. And then the breakdown just gets worse.

11. Winging your final presentation.

12. Remembering you still need to eat... and shower... and sleep.

13. When you officially run out of money or meal swipes.

14. Walking out of a rough exam, wondering where any of that information came from.

15. Finding any entertainment possible, even if you've become slightly delusional.

16. But yet, every minuscule thing sends you into an emotional meltdown.

17. Getting a better grade on something than you expected.

18. But right after, getting that one rough exam grade back.

19. Being very ready to pull up to your parent's house and be catered to for 3 months.

20. The feeling once you're finally free from the semester.

21. But yet, boredom will soon strike, and we still may never recover.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
