The End

This is a small book I am working on so far.

The End

The Start

New York the city of opportunity and success. Talk about lies. Who would ever know that I lived in this city. Before I go on I should tell you about me. My name is Tally, I am blonde with brown highlights, about 5'6", and I am 15. About six years ago I moved here with my parents. Now that I am done telling you all about me let's get back to the story.

"Dad, Mom I am home from school" It's probably another late night in the lab. So I went to the kitchen. My mom left a note for me on the fridge.

"Tally, me and your dad will be home late so you can order takeout. Remember we love You. Love Mom."

Of course I was right it's been like this for the past two months. They say their working on some top secret project. But it's their job so I can't say anything they need to make a living.

I decided to take a quick shower so that I can go to my BFF's house. I left a quick note for my parents. "Over at Sam's. I will be home by 10. Love, Tally". I think that's good enough of a note.

"Hey Sam I am coming over right now" I said as I was getting on the bus. "Okay tally meet me by grand central station" Sam said excitedly. Wow to think that we haven't seen each other in seven days been so long. She went on some trip to Maine.

"Tally" Sam screamed across the road. I don't really care about walking laws. I J-walk all the time. "Sam want to go out to eat since my parents aren't home"

"Tally your parents are home late more than my parents. I eat out more with you than I do with my parents or other friends". "Well that's how special I am" I said happily.

We got meat lover pizza and got a movie to watch. "Sam you can eat like a whole pizza and not get fat. But I do it and I gain weight". "Tally its just that I was made to eat" Sam said jokingly. "Well anyway we have school Tomorrow want to sleep over Sam".

"Sure you have an extra pillow"

"You always know I Do" I said happily.

Darnit time for school already. "Hey Sam it's 6 o'clock time to get up" I said tiredly. "I don't wanna go to school" Sam said with sleepiness in her voice. "I have a really cute skirt you can barrow in red"

"Okay I have to take a shower first"

"Meet me in my kitchen"

"Wow Tally I am loving this skirt is it new" said Sam with happiness.

"No I've had it like for ever"

"Well Tally at least we are the same size."

"Oh well Sam we have to get to school wanna to take a taxi"

"Heck yeah I do"

We arrived at my school. Its a really fancy all girls prep school call "Central Park All Girls Prep School".

"Sam, Tally where you two been we haven't seen each other in ages" Abby said excitedly.

"I was away on vacation with my fam".

"I was just at home, out, or at the school library doing my project"

Suddenly Abby had a very unhappy expression "I have to go do my project I still not done" she said and then she was gone.

"Every time she speaks I lose brain cells" Sam said

"I-" My phone started vibrating. Who's calling me at this time. My screen said "Unknown Caller" well their not getting me to pick up.

"Tally who was that" Sam said

"I don't know who but there not getting me to pick up" I said.

"Oh well then let's get to class" Sam said.

Me and Sam always have the same class no matter what we are like best friends.

Period one math my worst subject. Sam's favorite Subject I don't know how but it is. But she can't spell if even it was going to save her life. Sometimes I think the only reason we became best friends was because our parents work for the same company. Plus we had the same class before we even knew each other. So it was pretty easy to become friends.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
