In my opinion, Mann not only uses great relationships between himself and his actors, but he uses a mental side of himself to create films that no other director/producer can hope to achieve. The way he can pull from real world experiences and insert that into his movies is a grand feat. When researching Mann and finding out his inspirations and what makes him tick, I found that he isn’t a very vocal public speaker. He keeps to himself but always keeps his mind open. The best type of people is people who are open to all criticism and can use that as fuel in life. He is one of those guys and lucky for us as movie-goers he is a film maker. Mann has thrived and some say he is out of his prime, but I believe he is just starting.
