Going to concerts, whether that has been just for a single artist, or for big venues like Bumbershoot, we've all seen people that piss us all off. Instead of enjoying the music and making their time worth the $100+ they paid, they do the most obnoxious things that can ruin our enjoyment.
Snapchatting the concert
OK, I get it. You want everyone to see how you managed to get a ticket to a Bryson Tiller concert, but that doesn't mean you should Snapchat EVERY SINGLE SECOND of that concert. I mean snapshot after snapshot after 15 second videos... it gets rather repetitive. Go enjoy the music you supposedly listen to, since you know, you paid probably $50-$100 for a ticket.
Trying to start a fight over the dumbest things
Concerts definitely can bring out the "rachet" side of people. If I'm standing in front of you, and you can't see, don't go on to call me a b**** about the fact that I got into the venue faster than you did. What's more annoying is trying to start a fight because I "pushed" you. Yes, I was jolted forward by the rest of the impatient crowd behind me, get over it.
Pushing people in every direction
Listen, you're not going to get to the front like that. Everyone is squished to the point where no one could fall over. Jabbing your elbow into my side is not going to make me move any further for you. People sometimes take bathroom breaks, or leave early, so just be patient. You came to LISTEN and enjoy the music, not get to the front after an hour and getting resting b**** looks from the security guards.
Making out with some rando
I cannot stress this annoyance enough. Since my preferred taste in music is hip-hop/rap, I tend to see this more than I'd like to. Seeing a girl who looks like she's 12 completely plastered while grinding and making out with some random sweaty guy is not what I paid to see. Plus it's obvious that you really didn't come to see your favorite artist, but instead, came to lose some self-dignity with your boobs hanging out, nice.
A guy that tries to grind with you
I'm sorry, but what do you think you're doing? I'm trying to have a fun time enjoying this song and dancing with my friends, did I ask you to come up behind me and put your hands on my hips? If you do this, then please stop. NO girl enjoys this.
Band-wagoners
It's cool to see how many people show up to a venue, but it's frustrating to see someone who goes to the concert and barely knows the artist entirely. After seeing The Weeknd perform, a girl walking in front of me goes "Omg, I really liked that 'or nah' song!" Come on... if you don't know the artist, or even know a significant number of songs, then don't bother showing up. Or at least don't make it so obvious that you aren't a real fan.
