A man of God will make it known to his partner that he loves God more than anything else in the world. He will love God more than he could ever love any other human. His relationship with God will never be compromised for a human relationship and that is what makes him so special.

A man of God will not pull Bible verses out of his back pocket and recite them in order to impress other people. He will not google verses that he can use at his discretion. He will feel no pressure to prove to anyone that he is a Christian and has studied the Bible because his actions and words have already made it known that he is living through Christ.

A man of God will not allow for his partner's relationship with their faith to be compromised the same as he would not allow his own faith to be compromised. His partner's faith journey is just as important to him as his own, if not more important.

A man of God will recognize that he is called by God to use his life in giving glory to Christ. He is not called by God to make money and to maintain expensive possessions. He will recognize those things as blessings and as things that come second. First and foremost is using his life to give glory to Christ.

A man of God will never establish a physical relationship before an emotional or spiritual relationship. He will recognize that physicality is a beautiful gift from God that stems from an emotional relationship. He will also recognize that a physical relationship is not and never will be a necessity in any relationship with his partner.

A man of God will never pressure his partner into a physical relationship, nor will he be pressured into a physical relationship. He recognizes that in order for that relationship to begin, both people must have had time to prayerfully consider the relationship.

A man of God does not date somebody without having the intent to marry. He recognizes that the relationship may not end in marriage, but he knows that the act of dating is a test to see whether or not this person is fit for marriage.

A man of God is humble.

A man of God is kind.

A man of God does not just take his partner's hand, he continuously lifts them up in prayer.

A man of God does not just walk with Jesus through a relationship, he lives through Jesus during a relationship.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
