In college, getting through the week can be incredibly difficult. Especially around finals, the stress seems to come from all around, and you may find yourself living for the weekend. Just remember to take time throughout the week to be happy, spend time with friends, and maybe have a spontaneous Beatles dance party. So here is a Beatles song to jam out to for each day of the week:

Monday - Help!

Getting up for class on Monday morning sometimes feels like the worst thing in the world. On dreary Mondays it's ok to ask a friend, "Won't you please, please help me?" Maybe their answer for a pick me up will be a little Beatles?

Tuesday - I'm So Tired

"I'm so tired, I haven't slept a wink. I'm so tired, my mind is on the blink.
I wonder should I get up and fix myself a drink." School is hard and it may seem early in the week, but just keep going. Have a mini celebration Wednesday, but keep grinding along today.

Wednesday - Yellow Submarine

It's halfway through the week! You are nearly there, and it's definitely time for a break. Maybe you go out, or maybe you stay in and continue studying, but the night calls for something a little different, like this crazy tune.

Thursday - A Hard Days Night

So maybe you woke up Thursday hungover and were late to your 10 o'clock class, or maybe you just have a test today that's going to kick your butt. Either way, today's going to be rough. We get it, and The Beatles certainly do too. "It's been a hard day's night, and I'd been working like a dog. It's been a hard day's night, I should be sleeping like a log."

Friday - Here Comes The Sun

This song can instantly put anyone in a better mood. What better way to celebrate class been done for the week? Kick off the weekend with some sunshine.

Saturday - Twist and Shout

Twist and Shout just make you want to get up and dance. I don't know any better song to get down to. It's the weekend so just "come on and twist a little closer, now."

Sunday - Eight Days A Week

Sunday rolls around, and I always wonder where my week went. Eight days still would never be enough for me to get everything I need to done, let alone there only being even. When you're cramming in homework and studying at the last minute Sunday night, take a break for The Beatles.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
