The first week of school is always an interesting one. It is a culmination of excite but also despair in our lives. Let's take a day by day look at the week of this wonderful week we all know as "syllabus week".
Sunday
It's the day before the first day of the semester and you are excited. You have finally moved back into your living habitats, whether that is a dorm or an apartment and you are ready to experience yet another year with your friends. You can hardly wait and you already have everything bought in terms of materials and other goodies. Let the semester begin.
For some stupid reason you decided on adding a class at 8 AM on the first day of class and let's just say you aren't exactly the happiest about that. Regardless, you pull yourself out of bed and deal with listening to the ever monotonous overviews of syllabus papers that are thrown your way. As the day comes to an end you only want to go home and party with your friends... which you do a lot.
Tuesday
Let's just say that you drank a little too much last night and your head as well as your liver isn't having it. As you drag yourself to your first class of the day you are once again bombarded with syllabus after syllabus for the classes you are taking. Is it the weekend yet?
Wednesday
Today is different, you have already had these classes on Monday so you already sort of know how they work but at the same time you have already been given gratuitous amounts of homework. Hump day is over at least!
Thursday
You can feel the weekend approaching and you are already thinking of your plans for it with all of your friends, but you soon realized that you had a homework assignment due today that you completely forgot about. Better luck next time.
Friday
The week may as well already be over. You have survived the first week of school, which is undoubtedly the easiest but nonetheless you are proud. Let the weekend of partying commence!
Saturday
With the weekend in full swing, you are thrilled by the fact that you are finally back. It's almost overwhelming. But alas, you feel Sunday coming around and with it the new week. At that moment however, you quickly realize that that means another weekend as well.
