Summer Vacation is an epitome of fun. There is many sights to see, many places to go, and many things to do. It could be here at home, there overseas, or in the sea. With all the excitement to contain in the incoming weeks beforehand, comes the preparation that needs to be done as well.
1. Requesting
Requesting off work is always the first step. Making sure that you will actually have the time before planning is essential for it allows all other things to happen. Plus knowing that you have it off means that everything else will be okay because you have something to look forward to.
2. Booking
No matter ways of travel, there is always some sort of booking needing to be done-- Hotels, flight planes, rental cars, cabins. Despite all that once this is done, there's rarely any room to go back. One simple booking makes everything real. It's happening.
3. Planning
Whether basic, or explicit, some sort of planning is always good to do ahead of time. Your are away from home and in a different place, possibly for the first time. Having some sort of idea, even if vague, of what you are going to be doing while there is ideal. And if needing spontaneity, you can always leave for that, too.
4. Settling
Getting things squared away with the things for the home would be easier on you. Meaning getting the house, bills, mails, and other financial payments settle before leaving ensuring that there is less to worry about when away, especially if it is going to be for awhile.
5. Pet Sitting
Although you would really love to take your pets with you on vacation, you might not be able to do. So making plans for their care is another thing to put on the things to do. Having a neighbor or friend take care of them and attend to their needs while you are gone is helpful. If not, there are other avenues to consider as well.
6. Saving
Saving is a must. Money is needed, both before and after you leave. As like many things, there is always a cost. Of course, you have to spend some for everything in order to get there.
7. Shopping
There will be plenty of this while on vacation, but there will also need to be some beforehand. Getting the necessities and commodities. You have the hygienic needs and then the splurge of the moment personal needs. Vacation clothes, of course.
8. Styling
With vacation around the comer, you might want to pamper yourself. Whether that's dipping in shopping, getting a new due, body toning. Something that screams "Vacation ready."
9. Checking
One word: Checklist. There is nothing to wrong with double checking. Making sure everything was done beforehand and you have everything you need once you leave and lock up the house.
10. Feeling
It's all about the summer vibes.
11. Vacationing
Rest and relaxation having fun out in the sun.
