So, for many females, a lot of us (pretty much all of us), have made that "mistake" of regret. We've taken hurt from the past and unconsciously made it applied to the present and even future. We say we forgive and let go, but...is it really forgotten? Well, I can share my story and experience that I'm living through every day.
I find it so amazing how God makes us live through our mistakes as a lesson before the blessing. Meaning, if we chose the wrong "one" and chose to ignore all of the signs that in fact proved that they were the wrong one, we were subject to live out a lie to the end where the lesson was learned, even though we view it as our heart taking another loss. Over the years I've invested my emotions, my mind, and hell, what even may have felt as my soul into the ones that I thought were the one and til this day I'm still claiming a "single" relationship status. That's what happens when you chose what you think you want over what you know you deserve.
