The Proper Watching Order For The Films And Shows From The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Marvel movies have found a way into our hearts and the massive universe that they all take place in has stuck in our heads, so the perfect way to honor these cinematic masterpieces is to watch them in chronological order.

In the recent years, superhero movies have been a real hit with just about everyone so it’s only natural that there have been many made. And the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or the MCU, is an extensive world in which all the Marvel films (other than those owned by Sony and Fox) and television shows take place. Due to all of them existing within the same timeline, the films usually cross paths with each other. In addition, sometimes films that are released later could potentially take place sooner than a previous film or so forth. So here is a list depicting the best way to watch the films (in chronological order).

However, keep in mind that some films/shows are happening simultaneously so there ordered either by the earlier introduction to characters or the release of the film. In addition, shows like Marvel’s "Cloak and Dagger" or movies like "Black Panther" and "Avengers: Infinity War" aren’t on the list because they have yet to be released.

Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine.
