Disney has often been known to hold the monopoly on cartoon movies, but people forget that there is a great number of animated movies that aren't by Disney. In fact, some of the best animated movies are from other companies.

1. Pokémon: The First Movie

A great story of friendship and equality, and overcoming adversity.

2. The Road To El Dorado

The Road To El Dorado is a hilarious movie, with so many great jokes and music numbers.

3. The Tigger Movie


The Tigger Movie is a wonderful installment of the Winnie the Pooh franchise, with great family messages.

4. The Thief And The Cobbler

The Thief and the Cobbler is a hilarious movie, featuring the voice of Matthew Broderick, and is full of hilarious lines by the thief and fun songs.

5. Shrek

All four Shrek movies are hilarious with great messages, and rock overall.

6. Ice Age

Another great friendship story with the funny sidekick.

7. How To Train Your Dragon

How to Train Your Dragon is just another great movie about the underdog, plus, there's dragons so that's awesome.

8. The Nightmare Before Christmas

The Nightmare Before Christmas is a classic, and one of the necessary movies to watch on Halloween.
