Friends are everywhere you go. They come in all shapes, sizes, personalities, and ages. But there is always that one friend that tops all others. You know, like the type of friend that can always cheer you up? They're the one who cuddles with you when you're wishing you had a significant other or want to avoid homework. This is the friend who knows exactly when you're ready to have fun but can sense when you've had a bad day and just need to be loved. Before I introduce you to him, I will tell you just a few facts. He weighs about 25 pounds, he has long legs, he's real furry, and he always wears an orange collar. Let me introduce you to my best kind of friend.

Now before you get all goo goo gah gah over him. I have to tell you all that he is NOT my puppy. But he is my best friend Kaylee's pup and she shares him with me. (Thank you Kay!)
You see, dogs make the best kind of friends. Koop is always waiting to come and jump on my bed each morning. He let's me try to make him learn how to dance on his hind legs. (thanks buddy) He steals my recliner chair in the living room each night. But most of all he let's me take as many selfies as I want with him. He does all the things that I would never let any other (human) friend do. I know all my dog lovers out there understand me. You spoil them rotten because they just simply make life better. And sometimes you even spend more money on new toys for them, then you do for new clothes for yourself. Having a dog is like having a family member. Someday when it is his time to go, I will be so thankful for all the life events that he has been there for, because no one understands me better than he does. I love you, Koop!

My advice is for people to go get a dog and hold on to them for as long as you can. They will change you forever.
