When I treat myself, I like to do so with expensive and delicious food. I’m a huge fan of seafood, so, as you can imagine, going out to an expensive dinner for me means spending a lot of money. This past week, as many of you may know, was restaurant week in Atlantic City, New Jersey. I had no intention of attending restaurant week when I was headed to Atlantic City this past week, but it ended up being the best decision I made. Here are the top five reasons why:
1. The price is ideal.

Restaurant week has a set price across all participating locations - $15.16 for lunch and $33.16 for dinner. If you’re going out to eat in Atlantic City, you’re not likely to eat for much cheaper. And you get far more high quality food with the restaurant week deal.
2. It’s a three-course meal.
You will not leave this meal hungry. You get to chose an appetizer, entree and dessert for what cost? At most of the participating restaurants, you would be paying more than the cost for the entree itself. Also, getting your own appetizer is sometimes just what you need. Maybe your date likes salad and you want seafood. It’s great to have the option to not have to share something you don’t actually want. A+ restaurant week, A+.
3. The choice in restaurants is excellent.
The Chart House, Gordon Ramsey’s Pub and Grill, Guy Fieri’s Chophouse, Phillips Seafood, The Melting Pot and more are participating in this deal! Who wouldn’t want to eat at one of these places? Plus, it gives you so many options. There are pizza places, burger places, Chinese places and much more. No matter what you’re in the mood for you, you’re able to find it.
4. The limited menu is perfect for indecisive individuals (like me).

I hate going out to eat at any restaurant I’ve never been to before that has a huge menu. Diners are honestly a nightmare for me, as much as I love them. I have a hard time making a decision with huge menu's because I’m usually very hungry and everything sounds good. By limiting your options that you’re able to chose from, it means that you’re able to easily make a quick decision.
5. It’s not limited to just Atlantic City.

Surprise! It's not just an Atlantic City ordeal. Don’t worry if you hate Atlantic City, you’re still able to get these great deals. There are restaurant weeks all over the world, so be sure to check out whichever one is closest to you. If Atlantic City is the closest one to you, though, and you’re still not interested, be sure to check out what’s available to you in the surrounding areas of Pomona and Egg Harbor City.
If you didn’t make it to Atlantic City restaurant week this year, be sure to prepare for next year! I know I’ll be there.
