When it comes to fighting, arguments, or disagreements, it's so important to have the "bigger person" outcome, which is forgiveness.
If there's anything I learned in my life about friends, family, and even enemies it's that we forgive them even if they are not sorry.
We tend to hold all of this negative energy in us that we spend too much time hating someone or holding grudges, that we forget about what really matters in life.
For me, finding the time to hate someone or have ill feelings with them is completely a waste of time. Finding the time to forgive and move on make for a better life for myself.
Forgiving someone takes a lot to do, whether it's for something so small or something you'd thought that person would never do to you.
it's not easy to just forgive someone for anything really, it takes time and it's also a healing process for yourself and getting hurt from the experience.
Even if the person apologizes a million times or even not at all, forgive them, it will only benefit you in the end of the outcome.
Now forgiving someone and continuing to keep that person in your life are two completely different things.
Just because you forgive someone for something serious that they have damaged you with, does NOT in any way mean you have to continue to have that someone in your life.
At some point, you have to stop letting that person back in to hurt you and let them go, while letting them go without any hard feelings on them.
Having room for grudges in your heart is something I never want to live with. Hating someone or not having the maturity enough to forgive someone just causes more negativity in your life that you don't need.
If you are hating someone or holding that silly little grudge over whatever it may be is weighing over your head, it will never give you the room in life to seek out better than what you were treated as before.
Take these bad doings that someone has done to you, and use them to your advantage as a lesson to know and understand that no one deserves to be treated as such and go out to treat someone else better than that, to prove that not everyone can be a mean person.
It's so important to live knowing that you were the stronger person to let go of the bad feelings. carrying that extra baggage won't do you any good, once you get rid of it, the weight on your shoulders will feel much lighter and better on your end.
Learning to forgive isn't always something easy we can all do, but it always gives someone the inspiration to do better in life without having to worry about the downsides as well as all the hurt they were caused and to start focusing on the good in life.
Explore the possibilities of forgiveness and find yourself feeling lighter and more positive.
