The Art Of Exploring

What traveling really means.

The Art Of Exploring

Ever since I was little, I've loved traveling to different parts of the world. My fondness of traveling was exposed at a young age, and I am so thankful for that. From Egypt, to Macchu Picchu in Peru, my traveling experiences have taught me that traveling is not just about the destination you find yourself in, but in how you explore these destinations. There is, indeed, an art to exploring; an art that I continue to find in each destination I go to.

The art to exploring is open to interpretation. Everyone experiences a different sensation when he or she travels abroad. Whether, it is going to the other parts of the world, or next door to the state that borders your state.

Exploring is always in you!

At first, traveling can be a scary, intense, and major culture shock to those that have never gone more than a couple of days away from their home. My biggest advice to those people: relax and breathe! Traveling holds some of the worlds most ancient stories, artifacts, political and historical information for today's history books. It would be a waste to never take in that history if fear is what holds us back.

I admit to having anxiety about going to different places, but once I land in the state, country, or island I intended on going to, a whole new level of emotion and curiosity crosses me. It is amazing how something as small as landing from a plane can already get you attracted to the destination.

My family has just begun a love for travel in the last four year. It could be that when my siblings and I were younger, traveling never crosses our minds as interesting, fun, or amusing. Our summer vacations were revolved around swimming pools and friends. Now, we get the heck out of Vegas, and into the abyss of the unknown! One taste of adventure will spark your desire to visit as many more states or countries this Earth has to offer.

The world is a big place, but it is small enough for humans to experience all of it, one way or another!

Now -- pack your bags, book a ticket, and explore!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
