1. When everyone you know shares your Christian values.
You pray with your dorm mates and go to Bible study with the same people with whom you are in class. You aren't the only Christian in sight, and there is always someone there for you if you need help spiritually or if you just need an accountability partner. You get to live and interact with people who love Jesus just as much as you.
2. When your professor prays with your class.
Your professors aren't just your teachers, they are also a spiritual resource. Many of my classes also include Bible readings or Christian ideals, woven into what we're learning. Not only are you learning about your major, you're also learning spiritually.
3. When you actually enjoy mandatory chapel attendance.
When people hear "mandatory chapel attendance," they want to run away, but it's actually amazing! We have 45 minute chapel services 3 times a week, which I honestly look forward to. We have engaging speakers, and it's a great break during the day from classes. It keeps me engaged in God's Word. Worshiping alongside hundreds of my classmates is pretty awesome too.
4. When everything you do, in and out of class, is for Him.
Even our athletic statement is "excellence for the glory of God." In our clubs and extracurriculars, we maintain a focus on God and make sure everything we do glorifies Him. It's actually really cool, and another good reminder of the reason we're here on Earth.
5. When your campus is kind of like real life Christian Mingle, and it's okay.
This one is a stereotype of Christian colleges, but it's not as cheesy and lame as people make it out to be. I LOVE the fact that there are tons of Christian guys and girls here that will eventually get married and be awesome Christian couples. We are called not to be yoked together with unbelievers, so it's nice that the people you're interested in at college are going to share that value.
6. When you grow closer to God and each other as a result of being at college.
Simply being in an environment where there are tons of Christians around brings you closer to God. You are more encouraged when it comes to reading your Bible and praying, and there are lots of people to help you. When you live and breathe Christian values, they really sink in. I also have great people to look up to here that are excellent examples of what it is to be a Christian in these times.
