Elle Woods is a woman after my own heart. She's a sorority girl who works hard, advocates for what she believes in, believes in love, and values her blonde hair. After re-watching "Legally Blonde" I realized that Elle tells the story of all of us during the final weeks of school.

1. When you spend time relaxing and thinking about the summer and your biggest concern is getting the bikini body you swore you were going to have by now.

.

Which was like, kind of a problem, but one that you can handle with a detox and self will.

2. When you make a ton of plans with your friends about all of the things you're going to do this summer.

See: beach drinking, rooftop drinking, porch drinking, etc.

3. When you realize you still have four weeks of school left.

I'm sorry, but that's like so rude.

4. When your professor asks if you would rather take a test or give a formal presentation.

So many pros and cons. Basically picking between a yellow drop waist dress and an army green prom gown.

5. When you ignore class readings for more exciting reading material.

"14 Tips to Catch His Attention" is way better than reading "The Waste Land."

6. When someone tells you to lower your expectations because they know you've been slacking all semester.

Please, don't doubt me. I turned my brassy roots platinum. I can handle anything.

7. When you start taking your class material with you to study literally everywhere because you're actually getting a little nervous.

"I'll show you how smart I am!"

9. When you get to a point in your professor's lecture where you completely disagree with everything out of both truth and angst.

This is stupid. This makes no sense. You make no sense.

10. When you try to reason your way through a problem that was in the study material with literally anything you can and realize you're slowly losing your shit.

I will make anything make sense.

11. When you get really emotional about all the work that you've done that you're ready to throw in the towel.

I can't do this anymore. I just can't.

12. And then you're ready to give up on being a student all together.

Maybe those dance classes will come in handy after all.

13. When you literally just feel like...

Enough said.

14. When you mourn the loss of your motivation by binge watching Netflix and binge eating chocolate.

I'm not doing anything that requires real pants.

15. When you decide to actually get your shit together.

All while wearing an outfit that looks this cute.

16. And you're stuck inside studying instead of going to the totally Instagram-worthy party.

And I totally had an amazing captain ready too.

17. ...And actually decide to go to the library.

Gag.

18. When you actually see light at the end of the tunnel and start gaining your confidence back.

I feel like the train in "The Little Engine that Could" .

19. When you review again the night before the test while trying not to have an emotional breakdown.

I won't freak out. I won't freak out.

20. When you try to do anything extra you can to sway your professor into giving you a higher grade.

Including adding hearts as dots over all of the i's.

21. When you actually take the test with a lucky pen.

Probably with lucky underwear on too.

22. When you get your grade back and you totally nail it.

GO ME!

23. Because, duh.

Keep your eyes on the prize, gorgeous.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
